Blanc Double de Coubert – 1892. Good healthy foliage. Bears large semi-double fragrant blooms of the purest white. Fairly continuous flowering. 6ft by 5ft.

Delicia - 2002. This rugosa hybrid has large pink very fragrant loosely double flowers revealing yellow stamens. recurrent. 6ft by 3ft.

Fru Dagmar Hastrup- 1914. Large clear pink blooms with a strong fragrance. Large red round fruit. Compact growth. Good Autumn foliage. Perpetual flowering. 4ft by 4ft.

Hansa - 1905. Similar to but not as deeply coloured as Roseraie de L’Hay. Foliage also more pointed. Has the advantage of being a good bearer of large red fruit. Strong spicey scent. Perpetual flowering. 5ft by 4ft.

Rosa rugosa ‘alba’- 1870. Large, pure white, single blooms. Quantities of large round orange fruit with and after the flowers. Continuous flowering. 5ft by 5ft.

Roseriae de L’Hay – 1910. Large semi-double loosely arranged blooms of purple crimson. Wonderful scent. Deservedly popular. Perpetual flowering. 6ft by 5ft.

Rugspin – 1960. Single scarlet crimson flowers produced freely on a healthy well foliated plant. Excellent hips. Good in a smaller garden. 4ft by 3ft.

Scabrosa – Very large single reddy - mauve blooms with and followed by large red hips. Good scent. Excellent foliage. Recurrent flowering. 5ft by 4ft.

Schneezwerg – 1912. ‘Snowdwarf’. An interesting smaller rugosa producing large quantities of fragrant semi double pure white flowers with conspicuous golden yellow stamens. Very perpetual. Later flowers at the same time as scarlet fruit. Good in a container.5ft by 4ft.

Souvenir de Christophe Cochet - 1894. large pale soft pink semi-double flowers amongst deep green leathery foliage. 4ft by 3ft.

Yellow Dagmar Hastrup 1991. A new rugosa variety in a much needed primrose yellow colour. Dark green shiny foliage and a long flowering season. Very healthy. Continuous flowering. 3ft by 3ft.
